As inspired by how British constructs 'clubhouse' in Malaysia during colonial era; and now Malaysian investors revamping Battersea Power Station in London for new homes. The project is driven by curiosity on the following topics:
What is the architecture of 'whose territories' and 'whose land' ?
How to construct a piece of Malaysia in London ?
Bringing people together;
a dinner table embracing
diversity.
Collages and Paper Models are used to study the juxtaposition of placing Malaysian cultural symbols and architectural elements in British context.
